Our journey began with long-standing industry professionals, Fraser and Pete, who had a vision to create a world-leading clean-tech expertise in laser engineering. Building on that vision, they assembled a dynamic and powerful team with a commitment to innovation. This commitment quickly matured into proven expertise and worldwide capability, with a team set to lead and deliver the next generation of advanced manufacturing.

Watt Laser was founded in Ayrshire, Scotland with a mission to exploit and industrialise ultra-fast, ultra-short pulsed lasers.
Developed a suite of standard products for the Electronics Manufacturing industry. Established global presence. Pioneered early capabilities for revolutionary technology, now known as MLAb.
Relocated to Glasgow, Scotland. Secured and executed high-value, cross-industry custom projects. Evolved our mission as we redefined our capabilities and potential.
Launched MLAb and built the foundations needed to support our accelerated growth path.
