Parts Inspection
Process: Inspection
Inspection Area: 800 x 750mm
Minimum Detectable Part Feature Size: 30μm
Automated Part Quality Control
Our part scanning application is designed to deliver a robust and reliable method for automated inspection of manufactured parts. By integrating high-resolution imaging technology with advanced data processing, the system ensures that every feature can be measured and verified against its original CAD model with speed, accuracy and repeatability.
The scanning process follows an optimised inspection path, capturing the geometric and positional characteristics of key features across the component. These features are then scrutinised to see if they meet user-defined tolerances (including size, shape and position) allowing the system to identify even the smallest deviation that may indicate damage, wear or defects.
When discrepancies are detected, results are presented in a clear and structured format, enabling operators to immediately assess whether corrective action is required. Each inspection produces a comprehensive data file: this may include failure rework data pinpointing the exact features that failed the inspection, or a conformance report confirming compliance for quality assurance documentation.

Why it matters?
By automating the traditionally manual and time-intensive inspection process, our solution reduces human error, increases throughput and ensures consistent verification across production runs. This not only strengthens quality control processes but also enhances overall efficiency, supporting manufacturers in delivering products that meet the highest standards of precision and reliability.
